The Beseler negative carrier is, what many feel, is a better alternative to 4x5 glass carriers. This carrier grips the edges of the negative on opposite sides, this action pulls the negative tight, and holds it flat without glass and without the aggravation of trying to keep 6 surfaces free of dust.

Buyers Take Note:  Many of these holders saw daily commercial use and while they appear to be in good condition, developed issues over the years that will cause you grief. This carrier is in outstanding condition.  I have owned it since new and I know its history. It saw very light use in a high end scanner.  It has never been exposed to a darkroom environment and has not been abused or used hard. All mechanics, including the width adjusters,  work perfectly. Nothing is binding or bent or broken.
