Beseler 8312 6X6 cm 2.25" Negative Carrier for 4X5 45 Series Enlargers AS-IS

Description

Up for sale is a used Beseler 8312 carrier for 2 1/4" X 2 1/4" (6X6cm) negatives for use with Beseler 4X5 series enlargers.  The carrier is being sold for repair or parts because it is missing two of the round pieces of metal on the neg bed (I've been printing for over 30 years, but I have no idea what's the proper name for these round pieces).  Technically, the carrier is still usable in its current state, but without the round film-edge guides, it will be more difficult/annoying, particularly if you're a novice printer.  Additionally, the holes that remain would need to be covered with some sort of opaque tape or other material so that light does not shine down onto one's print.  Cosmetically, there is moderate overall wear in the form of scratches, scuffs, paint loss, & streaks.  There is also some rust to both sides of the rear rivets (photos 4 & 7).  If you're ok with the carrier being shipped in an envelope (it will still be sandwiched between cardboard and bubble-wrapped), then the flat-rate envelope is the best value for shipping.  If you want the carrier fully boxed, it will be a bit more expensive due to its weight.  Please be sure to fully enlarge the provided photos, and feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
