Beseler Negatrans 8081 35mm Film Carrier - UNMOUNTED FILM STRIPS & SINGLE FRAMES
This is a used Beseler Negatrans for 35mm film, catalog number 8081. It is in excellent condition mechanically and cosmetically. It shows minor signs of use but no abuse or damage. The transport mechanism is smooth and even with no binding. The Negatrans #8081 is a unique 35mm negative or slide carrier that keeps negative handling to a minimum. Individual negatives, unmounted slides or complete rolls of film are transported through the Negatrans by a patented drive mechanism. The only time the film is touched is when loading the Negatrans, thus preventing fingerprints or scratches from occurring. The 35mm Negatrans prints standard 35mm format and includes a sliding mask for half frame printing as well. A built-in window allows the user to view the exposure number on the baseboard when desired. Design of the 8081 allows it to be used in all Beseler 67, 23C and 45 series enlargers. The Negatrans is not recommended for use with 35mm mixing chambers.
